Dear Sacred Heart Families,
It was a WONDERFUL DAY last Friday as we celebrated our May First Friday Mass followed by a beautiful May Crowning in our quad. Congratulations to our second graders who received their First Holy Communion on Saturday, May 5th. Today we had our "Walk For Emily" and I thank all of the parents and students for working so hard to make this such a special day for our school and for Emily and her family. Next Friday, May 18th is Field Day. Our junior high has some fun things planned for us! Be sure to put sunblock on your child and feel free to send kids to school with hats. Follow the free dress code for that day. Progress Reports for grades 1-7 grade go home today.. The end of the school year is coming quickly! Please help us keep our kids focused during the days ahead!

Transitional Kindergarten to Open for 2012-13 school year!
Our school is pleased to announce the opening of a Transitional Kindergarten Program for the 2012-13 school year! Students must be 4 years old by September 1st to qualify. Information and applications can be obtained in the school office or by clicking on the forms menu above.
WALK FOR EMILY
Sacred Heart School is proud to support the fight to end Leukemia in honor of our student, Emily Morales. Friday, May 11th our entire school community will come together to "Walk for Emily". Students may wear free dress bottoms (yes, even appropriate free dress shorts) IF they have a shirt on that is at least 50% orange. Special thanks to Kim Althausen, Lorena Martinez, Patty Morales, Mrs. Robles and our entire 6th grade class for rallying to support their classmate, Emily, in planning this event! The walk will be held from 10am – 11:15am. A BBQ lunch is being sold for this event – proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital LA as well as the scholarship fund for Emily Morales.
